Do Me

They serve the spiciest nasi lemak i have EVER tasted.

They are like. THE BOMB. Literally. KABOOM!
xxxxxxxx

I dont know whether it was the nasi lemak or the annoyance of my mangled thick hair which made me decide that I NEED A HAIRCUT.

I have a love hate relationship with my hair.

Sometimes it will annoy me to death when it curls in the most awkward positions. Its frizzy at times. Unmanagable. And so blarghhhh. I have no idea how to work a curler and i dont know how to blow dry my hair in a manner that would make my hair curl in after shower. I just let nature do its work. Yes. I am lazy like that.

But sometimes, it will just fall nicely into place and look perfect. But that doesnt happen often. *Sighh...

The Before picture.
Pink sleeved empire dress/top: A'xteqs
Pink zigzag metal bangle: Bangkok
Silver scale cuff: Sungei Wang
Black tote bag: Sungei Wang
Floral leather pumps: Shanghai

I dont understand why Jian Wei would say i have 'the most beautiful hair among his girl friends'. I dont need shallow compliments to keep me happy you know. Hmmmm...... Maybe i do ;)

Either ways, i made an appoinment with the hair stylist and snip snip! Off goes my hair!

For a measly RM25, I think it looks not bad. Its definately a style i've never tried before. Just ask anyone from 13.

A VERY layered shoulder length cut. Apparently I have very thick hair, and so the hairstylist have to cut my hair 3 times before it actually showed any signs of hair being layered.

Well, you know what they say.

"The thicker hair you have, the more money you can make by selling wigs!"

The After picture.
Yellow boxed shirt: Pachenta Vintage
Black and white Striped vest: The Summit
Side flower motive bootcut jeans: Giordano
Black tote bag: Sungei Wang
Dirty green mermaid flats: Stockist

Overall, I think it looked great on the first day.

But once i took my bath......
Lets just say, it was never the same again. *sighhhhhhh.....

Surprise dinner at Tokyo G today. Fantastic :)

And no kaysim. I dont look like i jumped out of the 70s. Tights are IN!!!!

Just felt like i have to say it out to (maybe) get it over with

I really dont understand human beings.

I just read something which is possibly the stupidest and dumbest thing i have read so far.

It was about a picture of 2 friendnemies.
Oh we know that story too well. Friends in the public eye. But when the curtains fall, the whips and knifes just comes lashing about.

Nope. Thats not what shocked me. It was the caption that comes with the picture.

Friends are worth living for. or some crap like that.

Really?

Really?

Its so obvious that its a ploy to play campus sweetheart. We all know the rumours. We all know you dont like her. So why?

Cause we needed to feel secure. And to get that, we need a lot of people to like us. We try to convince ourselves that if we are liked by many, it means we must be some awesome possum with a side of cool. So we do the sucking up. Using facebook as a tool to spread our "niceness". Leaving comments here and there and everywhere, like copying something as stupid as those forwarded comments that says "Flowers are beautiful. Friends are like flowers. So therefore, you are beautiful cause you are my friend!".

Geez louise. Thats just so corny. And so frickin lame with a capital L.

If they are your true friend, there is no need to send lame-mo messages like that. True friends 'get it'. No need to try to butter them up.

So why is it that people in Aimst. Yes im being brutally honest for once and i dont give a care about what people think. Its the truth what. I dont know how can anyone live with those conditions and not have anything to say about it!

Why cant all of us just be contented with having a few good friends?

For me, if i dont like that person. I just dont try to pretend. Why? Whats the point if i bodek you and you suddenly found that im a neat person and shit. I still dont like you. Would it make a difference? So why bother?

If you do feel i have hit a nerve, dont blame it on me. It must have been something you did and you cant accept the fact that im right and you're just a stupid old twart cake.

Im trying to be as contented as i can with my life in Aimst. I am! I have good friends like Lisa, Alex, Ming Zhi and a few others (have to leave it at 'a few others' cause if i try to mention everyone's name, im afraid i will miss out one. then i'll get screwed when i get back =.= So AND OTHERS. yea?)that i dont feel im lacking friends. But when people starts to do shit like faking friendships, the beautiful picture suddenly gets slapped up, down, left anf right, all around! Cause then I'll question my own abilities.

"Why im not close as those 2 are" (The kissing up can really mess a person up! You'd think they are such good friends but... hahahahaha. Yea rite.) Then i'll get insecure and start questioning my social abilities.

But hey! After a few days of thinking it through, I realize that i have no social incapibilities! I can talk to anyone bout anything as long as they are willing to listen! Theres nothing wrong with me.

Its the social system back north which is whacked up.

It has been great all throughout exams cause evryone is busy studying. Theres no time to bodek here bodek there. So i dont ever need to feel irritated. Cant we just stay that way? Peace and harmony.

Ahh nevermind. No ones gonna change either way. Period. So im not even gonna bother.

Just try not to annoy me in the process.

Flying off on my imagenary broom.

ps. Social ladder my ass. Who would ever want to climb it? I want to climb down but you people keep blocking.

I dont get why i cant grow fatter.

Saw this cute doggie statue in the middle of Sibu city. It was literally in the middle of 4 roads. Makes no sense but what the heck. Is cute.

Since i am the only Sarawakian among my kl friends, i find that it is my trusted duty to introduce some local delicacies that i have been most ungraciously chomping on in Sarawak!

1. Charity Dinner at SACRED HEART HIGHSCHOOL.

Its actually a charity cum church anniversary kind of dinner. It was held in Sacred Heart highschool in Sibu, which, might i add, is an ALL BOY SCHOOL. Yummy. The food of course ;)

A full fledged 8 course meal. Shared by a table of ten. The whole of mom side was there, except for Sam and qiu qiu.

The cute cousins

The Family picture

My mum told me that Sarawakians have this very funny habit when they go out to restaurants, or dinners, or just a simple steamboat at a friend's house. It seems that this is somewhat of a tradition among the aunties and uncles, to keep spare plastic bags in their handbags and pockets, so at the end of the dinner, if there is leftover food on the table, they'll just swoop out their plastics and sweep all the food into it.

Can you imagine the shock i got when i saw the aunties fighting over leftover food?:D
Its like that mountain scene in Kungfu Panda, when master Sifu uses the chopstick and did all that fancy kungfu shit so that Po would somehow master the art of Kungfu and become the Dragon Warrier. Yes i just finish watching Kungfu Panda for like only the 6th time this year. So? Its funny what.

By the end of the dinner, not only did the aunties (and uncles) scraped all the food off the table, they continued to astound me by carrying out the empty softdrink bottles. Haha! :D I must admit, that is a good habit, to recycle them. But, when not one, not two, but when 30 over aunties do it, the scene just turns ridiculous! :D

2. Breakfast at a local kopitiam

Heres another interesting thing i'd like to mention. In Sarawak, when you order food, the waiters usually will put a cup with chopsticks dipped in hot water on your table. The chopsticks will have different colors or different markings in accordance to what types of food you order. So when they serve you your meals, you are expected to take the chopsticks out from the cup so the waiters will know that they have served you with your food already. Interesting ey :)

3. Bintagor Rojak (they say that Bintangor sells the best rojak ever)

4) SUGARBUN!!!

5. Steamboat at aunt's place

That was the last meal we had in Sarawak before taking off to KL.
hmmm.
I miss the food already T__T

BYE!

Its been a long time.

HELLO Y'ALL!

Yes i got smacked by my dad right after that stunt.

Apparently the camera was more important to him than my head being smashed to the point of no recognition by a metal signboard or something like that.

Way to make me inferior to my camera dad.

"Work the camera! work the camera!". Im sexy like that.

BUT anyways, IM BACK from Sarawak! Healthy and alive and not even the tingiest fatter though i was practically stuffing my face with food, food, and yes you've got it right. More food. Makes you wonder huh.

Vester's brother. Or sister. in my grandma's house. I didnt get a chance to find out the sex. Gotta respect a dog's genitals!

Vester's my dog by the way. The handsomest dog you'll see in the whole of USJ 20 neighbourhood. I checked. Twice.

I have a picture of him somewhere on my laptop. But. Unorganized files and pictures. You get the point (have to do something bout that. hmm..) But to give you a rough visual presentation, you can refer to the picture above. They look identical. Except for the fur's color. Mine's sandy brown. Nice :D

-----

I just love going back to Sarawak!

Know why?

Inflight food! Awesome la. I dont know why people always complain about aeroplane food. They're delish!

And its also the birthplace of SUGARBUN!

Sugarbun is a fastfood chain in Sarawak. You can see it in practically every city in Sarawak.

They serve traditional burgers, hotdogs, fries, fried chicken. Like those typical fast food outlet in Malaysia and elsewhere.

HOWEVER what makes it stand out is the fact that they sell Bolognese Spagetthi, Chicken Rendang, Fish Head curry, Prawn mee (or some type of mee. Cant remember), Teh Si Peng, 3 Layered tea, Dog genitals. Ok, i was just kidding bout em genitals. But bottom line is, they sell EVERYTHING and ANYTHING at an affordable price.

But its only famous in Sarawak. God only knows why. No where else in Malaysia can you see this Sugarbun outlet. There was one time it opened in Taipan. Oh yes. It did. I saw it with my very own eyes. But 2 months later. *poof* WHY???! *sigh

*TO BE CONTINUED cause i just got too damn lazy to write anything else.

Will be back on Thursday! Dont forget our Redbox session on Friday!!

Guess Who's Back. Back Again.

Yeap, im back from my Sabah trip with my fellow coursemates. 10 of us to be exact. Plus one Pharmacy friend who is a resident of Sabah, whom was more than happy enough to chaffeur us around Sabah, bringing us to many 'interesting' and EXOTIC places.

But lets not dwell on the details till the next few posts =)

It has been truly a wonderful holiday for me, growing closer to friends and experiencing new things and seeing the diversed culture Malaysia has to offer. Not to mention relaxing my ass off for the first time in months.

What awaits me back home, however, was nothing but mountains and mountains of WORK WORK WORK.

Theres so much things that has to be done that its obscene.

16kgs of workload. And people thought this job is easy.

Picture was taken after i cleared half of the items.

*faints*

But then again, there are perks to having a shoe business (now expanding into clothes and bags) :D

My pixie shoes! Or brogues. Whichever.

Hema have heard me raving over this shoe during our little karaoke session at Redbox yesterday! All throughout lunch and well, basically the whole day. Kaysim is tone deaf and he's a guy so he's practically immune to shoe talk and Shee Wuee was sick, and sleepy throughout cause of the medications, so hema played victim to my shoe parade!

I absolutely love this pair! Its gorgeous and so cute and so so.. PIXIE like. Im thinking of getting it in light pink. =) =) =) =) =) Comfortable to boot. I can predict myself wearing this pair all throughout my clinical years.

My Mermaid Shoes!

Mermaid cause the cloth actually has a scaly print on it. Like a mermaid's tail! Dirty green in color and shiny! Most importantly, its practical and comfortable! Walking around campus in these will be such a breeze :)

My Colorful Beach Flats!
Perfect for going to the beach, or walking around in bazaars and pasar (yes we still have to look good even when we're haggling prices for fish). Uber love!

This is my second pair. Cause the first pair was shamelessly dragged around Sabah for a week, through rain and shine, through mud and sand, through hiking up Mount Kinabalu (i forgot to bring my sports shoes. No scratch that. I was just lazy to carry an extra 800g). Well to cut things short, it was worn to hell and back again. The poor thing has no chance of survival. Uhuk uhuk.

Ah wells. Never too late to buy a new one! :D

My Crazy Bollywood Heels!

Someone told me this pair resembles a Bollywood movie cause its so colorful and bright and exotic? haha. So Bollywood it is. Useful when i want to mix and match colorful pieces of clothes together.

But enough about that. Now on to business.

The following are customers shoes.

And soon to be Christine's as i've just ordered another few pairs of them for myself from the supplier XD

This shoe is a huge hit among customers. I can understand why. Its different and unique and so so so so so so so so so so comfortable till my mum wanted me to get her a pair @.@

Thick heels for optimum comfort. Gives a hint power as well. Cause thick heels means painful toes to anyone who tries to diss the wearer.

Im getting a pair for myself. Do i even need to explain why :)

Matches a military jacket or anything military actually. Cause of the gold studs at the side. Also nice when paired with work clothes cause its considered a formal type of shoe.

Another huge hit with the customers as well. Im getting one for myself too :) Perhaps. Let me go count how many shoes i have first =s

Balmain inspired shoes! They are on the rage right now! Get them now if you havent!

Wedges are a must. You know that right? =)

Oh im dying to get a pair of these for myself! They're gorgeous! (Dont ask whats up with me and pointed flats. Its a phase. I'll get over it soon. I hope.)

Finally after 3 excrutiating days, I finally finished unwrapping, sorting, buying the brown wrapping paper and relevant items needed, packaging, writting the address on the package, writing the address AGAIN on the poslaju slip, triple checking them, bringing it to the post office (which is such a hassle. Can you imagine carrying 30 over pairs of shoes and 20 over clothes and 3 bags!? Yes, i counted them.)
