Twenty So Twisty

Hoho!

Im twenty and counting down the days till my liver cease function!

Gone were the times of late night dramas and 8 hour shopping sprees! I now can walk no longer than 2 hours before my legs starts to ache (no joke) and I can only last to about 4am before i fall asleep whilst doing whatever that im doing.

I mean, that says ALOT! Anyone can tell you i have the night tolerance of an owl! A very hungry owl (cause i snack like about4 times throughout the night).

Oh the agony of turning old and moldy.

So yeap, you've probably guessed it right, this post is all about my 20th birthday!

I celebrated my birthday 4 times! (soon to be 5 depending on the workload this week) =)
Well technically its 3 times since i celebrated it twice with my family :p

To start off the birthday frenzy, me and my family had a wonderful dinner at Marche, The Curve. A delightful place with a Switzerland themed interior.

They had an open market kinda concept where we are given these 'passports' at the entrance, and we're supposed to pass it to the 'stall owners' whenever we make an order. Its a brilliant idea really. At least this way, the restaurant can cut back on waiters, and we the customers, wont be pressured to make an order when the waiter waits inpatiently at the side

(which reminds me of The Apartment waiters. They suck SHIT. The Apartment is on the same row with Marche, but their waiteressing skills suck and their price SUCKS MORE. Remember how we ordered a 4 person serving to be shared by 6 during SWuee's bday and having the bill amounting to about RM270. ARGHHHH the PAIN!)

Food was DELISH.
I had the Red Snapper Fillet.
Dad had the Creamy Seafood Spagetthi.
Mum had the Humongous Garlic Weiner with Corns at the side.
Sis had Cheese Rotissiere and Savoury Crepe!
We also had Banana and Chocolate Crepe as well.
As for drinks, we had Freshly Blended Dragon Fruit (which i dont really like to be honest).

Notice how my dad's expression is like so stone. Haha. Ok not stone la. More like, a carbon copy of the previous picture, and the previous previous pic, and the previous previous previous pic. But just look at his daughters. So pro!

Throughout the whole night, we joked, and told stories. My parents would tell me and my sis about old grandmother stories and lecture us about WHAT FASHION REALLY IS. My dad and mum are real fashionistas back then. No kidding =)

OUTFIT FOR THE DAY:

Lippy long Tee!: Stockist
Black Peeptoe Kitten Heels: TSC (I had this pair when I was *gasp* 14!)
Pink Crocadile Patent Hobo Handbag: KK, Sabah

------------------------------

The nest day, we celebrated my birthday (again) as well as my dad's birthday (yup. His bday is a day after mine) at STATION 1 down in Taipan.

No pictures sebab hang lupak nak bawak kamera.

My sis made this for me. So sweet kan? =) Really pretty on the eyes too :)

You know what I love about MY birthday?

I get to choose my own cake!

FRUIT CAKE!!!

Its surprising that not many people like fruit cakes. They're delish and creamy and so so HEAVENLY.

My mum still likes calling me Princess =.=

Its funny cause when I was smaller, my mum never calls me Princess. But as i progress age-wise, the nicknames are becoming weirder and weirder. hmmm.

My dad and sis as handsome and as pretty as ever (Yes mum, you're very very pretty too till the guards in Aimst tried to get your name and told you how pretty you are =.=" True story people. True story.)

FRUIT CAKE FRUIT CAKE FRUIT CAKE!

WOO WOO WOOOOOTS!

Im addicted to Photoscape thanks to Huey Ching. Hahahaha. I should take up Photoscaping course instead.

Then there was the surprise birthday dinner thrown by my friends!

taken with Darren's super cool, super Wow DSLR

Place to be was at Secret Recipe by 8-ish.

Oh. No. They did not tell me to go to Secret Recipe.

This woman here:

and the man with the Orgasmic face here:

were supposed to go to Pyramid with me for a day of shopping, shopping and shopping!

I already planned what to buy, where to buy, heck, even where to eat dinner at! The purse was full and the credit cards were just waiting to be swipped.

So anyways, being the still license-less girl that I am, Hema said she'll pick me and Jon at around 6.45pm ish. She was late. Typical CLAN character (yes Boon. You. hahahaha.)

Nope, this is not Boon. This is Vincent. But if you make him put on a black brown colored, straight yet natural looking wig and carry that big shoulder bottle around, YEAP. I see the resemblance :)

So they reassured me that I will enough time to shop f or stuffs that I need throughout the car ride. They said that they had to stop by Taipan's McD's to pick up Kaysim.

At that point, I was like... =.=?

And it soon became.. =.=?!???HUHHH??? when Huey Ching climbed into the car.

Not long later, Kaysim arrived.

Then Hema started driving in one circle only to bring us to Secret Recipe.

And then it dawned on me.

Boy do i hv some sneaky friends!

But wait, the surprise didnt end there!

It was also a surprise birthday party for KaySim!
(his birthday was a week after mine!)

What did I do to deserve you people! =)

Searching for a boyfriend in the cake. None to be seen. Damn.

Now wishing for one.

haha.

No la. I wished for something else which is more significant in my life, like my family's health and my academics and etc etc.

Who knew a camera could take such beautiful pictures?

The owner of the camera which took all the beautiful shots that you see here is the guy in the red jersey, Darren. Benjamin, the psychology student on the rightest most, and Jon on the leftest most.

The pretty girls + 1 male
(Down-Up, L-R): Joe Hui, HueyChing, YiLian, KaySim, Jasmine, Me, Hema

I lost. Dont bother asking =.="

Thanks sooo much for the wonderful memories! Indeed this is one of the best surprises I've had so far!

(still waiting for Shee Wuee to pass me pics for the potluck thing in Cow's house during our mini bday celebration. You guys are so sweet la :)

Thanks for all the wishes and sms-es and Facebook msgs! I've read them all and they are beautiful.

What i did during the holidays.... [PART 1]

I know you guys missed me :) :) :) Admit it laaaaaa.

A whirlwind month i must say. Things to do, gatherings to go to, SLEEEEEEEEEP (major importance). I had soooo much fun its not even funny.
One month is too short a holiday. TOOO SHORT!
(Dr. Rajesh, i know you read my blog. Can ask the admin or the Dean of Medicine to make our holidays longer? Pleassseeee... Im always on my best behaviour during Microbiology class. I've never skipped microbio, not even once :D Ask Mingzy!)

And i heard next year end holiday is only a measly 3 week. Fml.

I'll just do a brief one over (cause im lazy like that) about what i did during my holidays!

I thought we were doing funny =.=

1) Shee Wuee's farewell in KLIA. We will miss you loads. And i havent kira with the clan yet. How could you all leave me in Malaysia :( FML.

For those of you who didnt know, Shee Wuee has flown to Glascow, Scotland to finish her Pharmacy twinning programme. Beauty and brains, i wont be surprised if hot angmoh guys start queing up to get her number :D

------------------------------------------------

2) Dinner at Hot Piper in Sunway Pyramid.

Frickin expensive. A burger costs like RM30 and a set of pasta costs RM30++.
Good thing i had Adrian to pay for me. Thank you :)

----------------------------------------------

3) Dinner in Pizza Uno at Taipan.
The pizza was effing delicious. And their chocolate vanilla milkshake with a scoop of icecream on top, EFFINGIWANTTODRINKSOMEMORE.

Casablanca. Mmmm :D

----------------------------------------------

4) Clubbing in MOS at Sunway.

After listening to people ooohhh and aaahhh over MOS, what with the no smoking rule, i finally made my mark there thanks to Huey Ching and Jeszye.

The songs were so and so. But it was wayyy wayyy better than the songs they were brewing up in Mist Club today (more on this next time).

The Dj kept dissing Kanye West, shouting, "DO YOU WANT TO HEAR SOME KANYE SONGS???!??!?!". Me not knowing about the whole TaylorSwift/Kanye drama screamed, "YEEAAAHHHHHH".

I think i was the only one who did that. Fml.

MOS very pretty laaa.

Downside is I pretty much suck in dancing. Hema said, and i quote, "Your dance moves are so PG13".

So i dont know how to do the dirty moves and grind, and bone, and spoon, but as of today, i can pretty much dance to the rhythm of the beat :) SUCCESS!

----------------------------------------------

5) Clubbing in Mist Club, Bangsar

Now this event needs a post on its own. The dramas, the near death experience *shivers*

Thanks to Jon, Mingzy, Jenna, Kamlesh, Chen, Hema, Marcus and well to everyone who helped me that night. I owe you guys BIG TIME.

Its nice to know that im not forgotten since my primary school days. Cant say the same for them. Blame it on my neurons. They have the memory capacity of zero =.=

Its funny how last time i used to think that sweaty perverted guys will never try to dance with me (cause im not as hot as the other clubbers), but hoho. I almost got grinded on, had my waist pulled, had a drunk (maybe half sober) man ask me for my number while trying to grab my waist. But it was all good. I just pushed them aside and went somewhere else. Ah.. see how much i've grown.

Throughout the whole night, everyone kept asking me the same thing, "are you really 20?" =.=

Though im partially happy to be blessed with natural smooth baby face, sepet moonshaped eyes which apparently looks adorable whenever i laugh, and with zero some body curves, I dont like it when people still ask me what form am i in!

Ok fine. I sometimes like being called young. Depends on who is telling me that :D

------------------------

Im now officially too lazy for my own good. Theres still so much more to write about, BUT I shall end here. God only knows when i'll write a proper blog post =)
